Yesterday two men heard those special letters after their name had been announced over the scratchy intercom. Instant happy shouting filled the room. In jail lingo “ATW” means all the way home. Their jail time is over.
When they announce those letters the pod (our dorm of 22 men) erupts with clapping, shouting and congratulations to the one who gets to go home. It means they are free.
If you have never been locked in a cage and had your liberties taken away “ATW” won’t mean much to you. Outsiders watch and shake their head and wonder what on earth is going on. All they did was say three letters. An insider would try to explain the pent-up emotions springing from their lips but I doubt an outsider could ever understand. “ATW” means freedom, family, real food, friends, wife, kids, grandkids, a real bed, cars, sunlight, fresh air, grass, telephones, vitamins, fried chicken, Starbucks, sunsets, walks around the block and a thousand other things I will never take for granted again.
As I thought about what I had seen and experienced when ATW was announced (I was shouting and clapping also) I was reminded of Romans 7:1, 4 and Revelation 4:1. One day soon we will hear a trumpet blast and the Lord will shout…. “ATW” (I Thessalonians 4 – come home). “You are released from that body that is imprisoned on earth. You will no longer be bound by sin and suffering and sorrow or temptation. No more wheel chairs, hospitals, prisons or drugs. Enter into the joy of the Lord”.
When that glorious day comes, angels will watch as millions of sin-weary Christians burst into spontaneous shouting. The angels will look at each other and shake their heads in questioning wonder and why a simple trumpet blast and shout could cause such a racket. God will say, “Angels, get back to work. There is no way for you to understand”.
Moses and the children of Israel felt the “ATW” emotions when they turned back and saw Pharaoh and his entire Egyptian army dead along the beach by the Red Sea. When they finally fully realized that they were free from that spirit-crushing bondage they had endured for four hundred years, the rejoicing was instant and spontaneous. Exodus 15 tells the story. I have read it nearly a hundred times but today I wrote “ATW” in my Bible beside this chapter. When I die someone will be looking through my Bible and wondering what “ATW” means. I’ll be looking down from heaven saying, “There is no way to explain it, so forget it. It only means something to me. Unless you have been there you will never understand.”
One of the men who heard his number called was Robert. When I came here five weeks ago Robert was withdrawn, often crying and very despondent. Two years of hard drug use had taken its toll. I made friends with him and gently introduced him to Jesus. His conversion was genuine and his growth in the Lord as he attended our four to five Bible studies a day was a real joy to watch. Robert is a master marine mechanic (he holds three world records for boat racing)and an electrician. Hopefully, he will have no problem getting work.
The other man being released, Eddie, is about the same age as Robert and is a cement finisher. I helped him learn quite a bit of math while he was here. The construction business is slow now especially as Christmas nears.
He was released just before midnight. I knew he had no job, no money and no place to go. He hoped his sister would take him in, but it would be 2am when he got there, even if he could get a ride the seven miles to her house, and 6am if he had to walk. I hugged him and prayed with him for God to provide.
Eddie and I had become good friends over the last five weeks. He came to quite a few Bible studies and memorized lots of verses to get candy bars, coffee and other prizes I offer from my commissary supply. He thanked me when I privately corrected him for using foul language. He will always have the scar on his hand where hit the Muslin man who had just hit me from behind (totally unprovoked) the third day I was here. Each morning when Eddie saw me, the first thing he would do was flash his big smile showing four gold-edged front teeth, show me his hand and say, “I’m your body guard, Mr. Kent. I’m watching your back.” I’ve made some great friends for life in here. This has been a good experience for me.
“ATW” also means a new man will be coming to the pod to fill the space. Dan came here four days ago and yesterday prayed with me to receive Christ. That makes number seven in my pod. He has three kids ages 7, 12, and 13. Last night he joined us in the prayer circle. He prayed such a sweet new convert’s prayer. He asked God to “bless my family and my new Christian family, especially Mr. Kent for leading me to Jesus. Please make the judge let him go home.” I love leading people to Christ but the supply of new prisoners never will end in here. I am beginning to wonder if God will ever let me out.
When do I go home? Judge Rogers can grant the acquittal in five seconds.
Assistant US Attorney, Michelle Heldmyer, is adamant against letting me out ever, for any reason. Please fast and pray at least one meal a week for God to intervene and stop this senseless persecution. Meanwhile, keep wining souls and teach others to do the same.

I was saddened to read some of the replies to your heart felt attempt to communicate with us what you are going through. When I heard about this, I spent a few hours on line searching for information and found mostly what the critics and the media had to say. One of our church members sent me a link to this site. It amazes me that Christian people would take this opportunity to find fault and whether they like the cliche or not, to cast stones. At this time we should all band together and fast and pray to see the victory and the deliverance of our brother. It makes no sense to accuse, you were not there, you do not know all of the details and who is to say that the details you have heard are accurate? We are all supposed to be brethren and are supposed to stand by each other, whether we agree on all points or not. Who does agree with everybody all the time and since when is that the issue? Isn’t the point the salvation of souls? Isn’t the point the furthering of the Kingdom? How many of us can say we have influenced as may for the Kingdom of God as Dr. Hovind? I think it is high time we close our judgmental mouths and turn out hearts to our Father, crying out to Him for mercy. Keep in mind that but for the grace of God, there goes YOU. God is the only one who can deliver us in time of need and before you open your mouth in judgment, think about how you will feel when you are in a tight spot and everybody’s finger is pointed at you, pointing out all your faults, real or imagined, when you are cut open from the enemy’s sword. Would you want someone to minister to you the healing balm of Gilead or throw salt in your wounds and say to you that you deserved this because “They said…” Think about it. I would rather pray my heart out and see God deliver, hoping to have someone do the same for me in my time of need. He who shows mercy will receive mercy, and haven’t you noticed by now that what goes around comes around??

Kent is the most recent poster child of U.S. government persecution of the true Bride of Christ. Please keep Kent Hovind locked up as our Christian martyr. He’s reaching hundreds of other Christian soldiers by his courage, conviction and love. These Christians are picking up their cross daily and doing something meaningful with the remaining years they have left on earth. You see, Kent is very well known in the Christian community and many believers are now empowered to talk to their church leaders about what has happened to Kent and the ministry he was given by God. The con that is pushed upon the trusting but ignorant to incorporate and seek 501(c)3 status is also being investigated and revealed! We shout Hallelujah!
We take solace in the sayings, “If you aren’t being persecuted you probably aren’t doing it right,” and “no good deed goes unpunished.” The U.S. government and the major majority who benefit from injustice within its walls will continue to do evil. It’s a given. Yet it’s good to know that there are believers like Kent who are doing a righteous work by exposing what is just and right using the light of truth. This is the only reason why Kent is being held in prison. He is not a criminal, he broke no law. Christ’s adage of “the world loves its own” is true. Kent is not loved by the world. He has been placed in a cage to keep him from delivering truth. Truth is what the world hates most.
Please be advised that while you may be the judge of what constitutes truth in this world and where Kent will spend his remaining years in your world, our Heavenly Father will ultimately judge where you shall spend the eternity of yours in His. Judge wisely.

I know you are going through a tough time, but very soon we will be in the presence of our Lord. Your testimony on the “inside” is helping both the little church in G20, and your brethren out here. I will remember you and the others there in prayer before the throne of God. And though David says in this Psalm that man is like to vanity, your labor is not and will not be in vain.

Just got back from Christmas vacation. No internet at my motherinlaw’s.
While down south we gave 10 full seminar sets to the Pastor of Lompoc Valley Baptist Church for families with teenagers. I hope christians there will pray for Dr. Hovind. My son went on a teen activity and was able to clear up some doubts about creation with one young teenager there.

Next, I ask if you can help me. Of late, I think God wants me to stand up against the 501c3 and Church Incorporation in my local area. It’s been on my heart for months. I have been introduced to the work of one PETER KERSHAW, whose book (“In Caesar’s Grip”) and booklet (“Hushmoney”) and various interviews from a few years ago strike cogently and Scripturally against this selling out of the American churches.
EndTimes, I was just wondering if you knew whatever happened to Mr. Kershaw, as he appears to have disappeared or something: He does not respond to emails, phone calls, or postal mail; moreover, while his website is still up (www.hushmoney.org) it has been abandoned and not updated in a few years, it appears.
And, EndTimes, even if you can’t tell me anything about Peter Kershaw, can you tell me where else I might be able to go and obtain more information and resources in doing battle against this great church error of today? 1)Please exclude Haldane’s dilemma as a problem for divergent evilutionary theory.
Haldane’s Dilemma remains an unsolved scientific mystery to those that believe in the theory of evolution but is not at all a problem for YECs that maintain a young earth and divine creation of all creatures. Despite your assertion that this is no longer a dilemma at all from the 1979 book that you quoted by Warren Ewen’s “Mathematical Population Genetics,” it actually remains unanswered. I have placed a link to Wikipidia that discusses what Haldane’s Dilemma is and that it still remains an unanswered dilemma for the theory of evolution.

Simply put, according to population genetics, there is not enough time to account for the differences between mankind and chimpanzee in the last 10 million years. The human Genome project is parralled by the Chimpanzee Genome project which is yet to be completed. To the best of my knowledge, the differences between man and ape continues to grow apart placing further importance of understanding Haldane’s Dilemma, not less.
2) Please tell me when man will over come the truth of Jeremiah 31:37 and be able to measure the heavens above and the earth beneath?”
Jeremiah 31:37 is an accurate scientific statement of the vastness of space and it remains an open challenge to the scientific community today to even search out what is beneath our feet. The “absolute” (perhaps infinite) magnitude of the vastness of space was unknown in the time of Jeremiah. In addition, the existence of Israel according to the truth of God’s Word as prophesied in a multitude of verses is also a challenge to be addressed. See Leviticus chapter 26 for the entire historical overview of Israel written over three thousand years ago.
3) Please tell me how the existence of radio polonium halos fits the evilutionary theory.
One of the most amazing findings and conclusions of Dr. Gentry’s work revolves around the theory of slow cooling of the “plutonic igneous rock” into granite which is a commonly found substance throughout the world. A simple but as of yet unanswered challenge that would falsify Dr. Gentry’s work would be to “create” granite in the laboratory according to the prevailing theory of its formation. This has been attempted for decades with absolutely no success. Taking a sample of granite, melting it and cooling it results in a substance called rhyolite. Examples of granite melts in nature also confirm this finding. So the entire theory of granite formation is unproven at this date despite thousands of scientific inquiries.
Secondly, place radio polonium halos within this laboratory sample and make it indistinguishable from original samples. This has to date been impossible bringing into question the entire arguments of granite formation let alone radio polonium halos. This is a simple challenge that is still unanswered and would falsify Dr. Gentry’s research if able to be accomplished.
The talk origins article makes several inaccurate representations of where Dr. Gentry’s samples were obtained and they assert that what he has found is simply intrusions into the rocks and not primordial materials. It is a simple fact that inter-bedding of geological layers proves that they were placed together at the same time. The “geologic column” seen at the Grand Canyon and further in the Grand Staircase opens for all eyes pancake layer strata with no erosion marks between the layers which would be expected with millions of years between the geologic eras allegedly placed over hundreds of millions of years. Instead, the inter-bedding of the Muav Limestone and the Mississippian Redwall Limestone shows that they were not formed millions of years apart, but of the same age placed during the great flood of Noah.

5) Please explain why the Bailey Willis mountain machine is inconsistent with flood geology?
In point of fact, the Bailey Willis mountain machine duplicated the Appalachian Mountain geologic features in a simple experiment with his machine and is thus exquisitely consistent with the flood of Noah. Multiple parallel layers of wax of varying thickness and hardness were placed in a box with a lateral stress applied by a press. Gravity was simulated by lead shot on top of the wax layers. Bailey Willis was able to show that the formation of the complex geologic structures of the Appalachian Mountain range were the result of these parallel layers of sedimentary rocks and applied lateral stress. The starting point of most of the basic geologic formations foundon this earth is parallel strata that are then deformed in various ways. Samphire, the whole world over we find these parallel sedimentary rocks that often were deformed while they remained ductile. This is demonstrated in every book on geology that I have read. No evidence of a world wide flood? Well only if you willingly ignore the evidence before your eyes.

6) Please explain how II Peter 3:3-4 cannot by chance explain people like you and the foreknowledge of the uniformitarian principle?”
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
May the Lord still have mercy on you and all those that reject the promise of his coming. Perhaps a closer study of the signs of the times would help you to see this truth. That is my prayer.
7) Please explain why Daniel 12:4 does not apply to our generation according to evilutionary theory.”
Please evaluate the mathematical assessment of man’s accumulation of knowledge noting that it is now doubling every 2 years or so as well as the mathematical analysis of the daily travel habits of people today as compared with the last 4400 years. The abundance of mathematical equations for population growth, human knowledge, resource utilization, habitat destruction, etc. that are all in the asymptotic phase of their respective equations is evidence to behold and not ignore, especially since they all come exactly at the time that the Bible predicts they would. This means in mathematical terms that all of these equations have “reached their limit.” Daniel 12:4 states very plainly, that when we see these two simple signs, we know that we are in the end times. Evolutionary theory and its millions of years of “natural history” ignores completely the mathematical conscripts of hundreds of measurable variables that would have long since “reached their limits.”

Darwin and Gould are completely contradictory in their mechanisms of evolution. The most compelling antievolution arguments that I heard shortly after becoming a born again Christian came from one of Gould’s own books. I applied his logic and techniques of censure against his opponents’ evolutionary models to his own works and I found them even more sorely filled with speculation and completely wondrous accounts of birds leaping out of dinosaur eggs that I excluded him completely. There is no rational, scientific explanation of rapid evolutionary transitions by the theory of punctuated equilibrium that can be considered more than fanciful conjecture and that completely belies all of the accumulated knowledge of population genetics and genomic preservation. On the other hand, Gould has laid a gauntlet of excellent proofs of the falsehood of slow gradual Darwinist evolutionary changes that we cannot go back to these theories as well. There we have it, Darwinism is dead by the last “great” evolutionary thinker from Harvard and Gould is nothing more than a science fiction dreamer with no shred of complementary biochemical plausibility. Perhaps I should join the new age movement and get ready for the next “quantum leap” to godhood coming soon instead of resorting to an ancient book that just happens to be 100% correct in every way. (I don’t think I will do that, I will stick with the truth of the Bible, thank you.)

The trilobite has 2 basic versions of the aplanatic lens both of which correspond directly to that of designs published independently by Descartes and Huygens. Chance alone? Curiousity question to those from other (non-USA) countries. What are your tax systems like (generally)? Do you have a personal income tax? Is it progressive? I won’t even touch on the structuring stuff.
I’m trying to understand the viewpoint of others on the USA’s bit more complicated topics that we Americans have a tough time with. I’ve got a good handle on the viewpoint from the Philippine side, but I’m curious on the viewpoints and background information of other countries.

But in regards to endtimes, there is only so much you can do to help someone like Samphire, see the clear falacies to their government, supported religion(evolution). The bottom line is, the only reason any one believes in evolution, is because the only other alternative is,in fact Creation. And if there is a creator then he might expect certain things of them, like RULES!!!! There certainly is no scientific evidence to back up evolution, but thats what they have ultimately chosen as their religion. Its called “The Religion of Freedom”.So, my advice to you, endtimes, is let the Holy Spirit do the rest. You’ve done your part. Move on and spread Gods Word somewhere else. Many atheists have indeed read the Bible very thoroughly. The sad thing is that instead of being filled with it’s light and faith, they try to dissect it with their devil’s tools of logic. I am pleased to report that our collective prayers, exhortations and celebrations over here in England were again successful in convincing the Sun to reverse his course to the Southern corner of the Earth. Although why it is deemed necessary for me to wear a policeman’s uniform complete with a blue rotating flashing light on my bobby’s helmet at midnight on Dec 31st to achieve the result is an arcane secret known only to the President and Two Counsellors of the Mormon Temple.
And while I am on the subject, I always think it is a damning criticism of Intelligent Design that God would have designed the solar system such that the Sun is in the southern hemisphere in the winter when we most need it in the north. The one time we do not need the Sun so far north is at High Summer when it is already hot enough.
Anyway, back to your responses to your questions (a curious dialectical device) which, I think it would be true to say, you or somebody else had already prepared long before you had posed them on the weblog. As I am back at work today I do not have much time to respond but my comments are as follows:

I don’t know who contributed the Wikipedia page but it does not provide the full story so maybe I can guess. For a start, it was not a dilemma for Haldane and, until the Chimpanzee Genome Project is complete, is not yet a quantitive problem for evolutionists. As I have often stated, the ToE is a work in progress.
I admit that the “Dilemma” is not a problem for creationists but this is hardly surpising as they make up their “science” as they go along.

So what? At the time of Jeremiah, the highest a man could measure was to the top of a tree on top of a mountain. So what is so clever about Jeremiah’s comment? He had no conception of a light year or even zero so his comment is purely an admission of his ignorance and science continually admits is own – otherwise scientists would have no need to get up each morning and go off to their laboratories.
Contraruy to Jeremiah, we certainly know the depth of the Earth beneath – it cannot be more than 7,927 miles measured at it’s maximum oblateness. So Jeremiah got it wrong.

And then how much time did some of them need to become metamorphosed?
Also, how long did the White Cliffs of Dover take to form and how?
I do not dispute the sedimentary history of the GC. But, unfortunately for YECs, the cataclysmic Flood would not permit the orderly sedimentation seen at the Canyon.

Please give a citation of Gould stating that dinosaurs gave birth to birds. Gould has in fact complained about constant misquotation of his work:

Punctuated equilibria is not an excuse for a lack of transitional forms. It still involves animals diversifying into a range of forms over long periods of time, and it remains consistent with the known existence of the many transitionals that show the process of diversification from ancient ancestral forms.

Dear Endtimes, enough of such tedious issues. A theological enquiry from me. Please would you tell me why St Paul seemed completely unaware that the Jesus of the Gospels lived in the same part of the world as him and, partly, at the same time. Why was he completely uninterested in the life of Jesus and seems to have known nothing of the physical facts of his life, the crucifixion or the place of the ascension up to heaven? Had you been living at the same time as God would you not have wanted to visit the exact site where He gave up his life for your eternal salvation or view the original prototype for Cape Canaveral? After all, Paul did spend a short holiday in Jerusalem visiting Peter who surely would have been happy to take a couple of days off to show him the sights (and sites). This is a far more fascinating question than anything to do with the bedding planes of the GC.

In England we pay 20% on the first £28,000 of income (all figures are approximate as I cannot be bothered to look them up) and then 40% on all additional income. There is a tax-free personal allowance of a few thousand pounds before tax becomes chargeable.
We also pay tax at the marginal rates on capital gains of over £8,000 per annum but one’s principal place of residence is not taxed. We used to be able to claim tax relief on money borrowed to buy a house but that concession was removed some years ago by the current Labour administration.
If you are employed then one’s employer has to deduct tax (the same sort of tax that KH has been convicted of evading) out of the income paid to the employee and pass it over to the Inland Revenue.
There is no relief for religious organisations per se but there is relief for registered charities (which may include religious organisations) on profits provided those profits are used for the advancement of the aims of the charity.
Inheritance tax is also a big issue over here. None of us like the idea of having to pay tax on already-taxed income. We are allowed the first £285,000 tax-free and then one’s estate is taxed at 40% on the residue.
We also have to pay in addition contributions towards the National Health Service and pensions of about 10% of income.
There is a sales tax (Value Added Tax – VAT) of 17.5% on most goods and supplies. Foodstuffs other than luxury items are free of such tax as are children’s clothes, tax on residential home purchases, insurance premiums and a few other items. This money is used to determine the relevant wealth of the various nations making up the European Community in order to distribute it by way of grant which is determined by some procedure hidden from us tax-paying grunts. Ireland (Eire) has benefited hugely under this scheme in recent years and, from being one of the poorest nations in Europe, is now one of the richest. This doesn’t mean that it wants all those New York cops emigrating back home tomorrow!
We also have a local income tax on property which is known as Council tax and is based upon a number of property value bands. A £100,000 property will pay, say, £1,600 p.a. whereas one deemed to be in the £200,000 band will pay, say, £2,174. This money is used to pay for local services such as police, roads and waste disposal.
Of course, most hate paying tax but, also, most of us are of sufficient maturity to realise that if we wish to live to a ripe old age in a modern secure state and have all the advantages which that gives then tax is a fact of life and a Good Thing. I feel very grateful to be living in these times and in a war-free zone and to be in a financial position such that the payment of tax is required of me to support the quality of life provided by a modern secular democratic state and, of course, that of my fellow citizens who are less fortunate than me. That is why I have no time for the tedious tax protestor arguments on this weblog. It goes without saying that neither myself nor anybody else agrees entirely over how our tax pounds are spent by government but that is why we have elections from time to time.
On a final point, as an admittedly non-american, non-lawyer, non-tax-expert and at a distance of some 5,000 miles it seems to me that KH seems to be extraordinarily-badly advised or, possibly, refusing to accept good legal advice. He even seems to have deliberately sought out bad advice to support his own tax preconceptions in exactly the same way that he seeks out bad science to support his creationist opinions. If you have refused to defend yourself in court and then, in light of undisputed evidence of witnesses, been found guilty on all counts by a jury what is the point in appealing the verdict? Surely one should be grovelling as best one might to ameliorate or mitigate one’s sentence and now for KH there is only a couple of weeks left to do so. It won’t help for others to write to the judge or the State Governor or for KH to set himself up as the High Priest of the Church of Pensacola State Penitentiary (or whatever). In light of the evidence given in court any suggestions that KH is making some sort of pseudo-religious or political stand just won’t wash. The finding of the jury was that he deliberately engineered his financial operation to evade the bank’s federal reporting obligations. As a result, not only has the $400k+ removed from the bank been forfeited to the state but doubtless the IRS will require interest and penalties as well. This is not a courageous stand for righteousness or religious freedom but downright crass stupidity on KH’s part. It was the undisputed reported evidence to the court of his Christian brother that KH had “boasted” of his tax-avoidance arrangements. In the land of the incorrigible tax-evader Cash is King seemed to be KH’s message. Contrary to the opinion of many contributors to this website, KH is not in prison because he is a creationist or a Christian but because he is a tax-evader. Unless, of course, the IRS and the court both have the law wrong. So what’s the betting?

Since I am still looking for transcripts of the Hovind case and I’m not privy to all of the details, I feel it would be inappropriate of me to comment on his case. I did find an interesting line though.
I was searching for the length of the IRS tax code. Just to get a feel for the size of it. From US Tax Code On-Line: “The complete Internal Revenue Code is more than 24 megabytes in length, and contains more than 3.4 million words; printed 60 lines to the page, it would fill more than 7500 letter-size pages. Looking for something buried in that mass of verbiage can be daunting.”
I also know Congress has added numerous amendments over the years. In my non-tax expert opinion, I would conclude there have been too many layers added to the code. 7500 pages with hoards of chapters and subsections would be pressing the abilities of the average person to comprehend. I feel the USA would be better off cleaning it up to a much more structured and condensed version to remove the chance of error and misinterpretation. The average layperson should be able to summarize their tax system as you did. Then the average citizen, the courts and the IRS agents, wouldn’t have room for debate.
Right now, the IRS tax code seems to be as disjointed and messy as my brother and sister-in-laws residence. Perhaps the American people should discipline the Congress and ground them to their tax room until it is cleaned up – without supper.

I don’t know if transcripts of federal trials are automatically produced for the public record so I thought that I would jump in with both feet to generate some heat before the matter goes to ground as many posters do not seem to understand what the trial was all about. KH has stated that he is itching to put his side forward when his lawyers permit it and I look forward to reading it in due course. However, given his refusal to allow his “PhD thesis” to be made available, I somehow doubt we shall see it.
As for the IRS tax code, we have the same complexity problem over here although, to be fair to Gordon Brown, he has changed the code constantly trying to prevent “tax avoidance”. The lumbering size of your tax code rather emphasises KH’s stupidity (which in his video he characterises as “forever”) in seeking inexpert help to advise him.
As for improving these serious matters, perhaps I could send the wife over to give your brother’s place the once over.

Welcome back and a happy new year. After the last week I’ve no more time for stomach dilation either – you should taste my wife’s Christmas Pudding, not that I left any for you!
Perhaps, like the pudding, if you boiled the tax code for six hours it would be more palatable.

I’ll be happy to discuss time dilation. There are two circumstances known to dilate time.
First: Extreme mass. The Earth lacks the mass to dilate time significantly. So do most other objects in the universe. Further, the time dilation function of mass is due to gravitational forces which are subject to the inverse square law. For example, if an object is 10X closer, it will exert 100X the gravitational force (and time dilation). The problem is that those massive objects would have to move from Earth at many times the speed of light to achieve the kind of time dilation needed by YEC.
Second: Extreme velocity. At near light speed, time dilates significantly. The problem is that the relative velocity of most of the universe is not sufficient to account for significant time dilation relative to Earth. In fact, the most distant object observable to the unaided eye, the galaxy Andromeda at 2,000,000+ ly, is moving toward Earth.
In other words, time dilation is no help to YEC.
