Dear God,
I hate to complain but…. I was busy leading a great revival in Samaria (Acts 8:5-25) in which thousands were being saved; demons were being cast out; sick were being healed; the entire land of Samaria was seeing revival; and I was happy and busy serving You and winning souls. Now I am standing in the Gaza Dessert! There is nobody here, Lord—no crowds to minister to.
Do You know what you are doing, Lord?
Yes, Lord, I see that chariot coming. But look, Lord. It’s only one man and his skin color does not match mine. He looks like a foreign officer.
Surely, You did not bring me all the way down here to witness to one man from another country. This man, even if he trusts You, God, will never bear any fruit for Your Kingdom.
Why did You take me away from my revival ministry where thousands were being saved to witness to one insignificant man? Lord, I don’t understand, and I would sure rather be home with my four daughters that also witness for You. (Acts 21:9) However, since You brought me here, I will go talk to this man. I sure hope You know what you’re doing! We’ll talk about this later, Lord.

Post Script: Little did Phillip realize, that this Ethiopian eunuch would go back to his country and lead probably one of the greatest revivals in history. By the time other Christians arrived in Ethiopia sometime later, there were already tens of thousands of believers, based on this new convert in the Gaza Dessert. The church today still thrives in Ethiopia—two thousand years later!
Hang in there Dr. H. The fullness of God is with you. Come on guys. Keep praying for Dr. H.

Keep up the good work Dr. Hovind! Thank you for continuing to stand for Christ even in the midst of trials. I am praying for you. God will never leave you,nor forsake you -He is right there with you Brother.
We need more Christians today to take a stand for Christ, and not to be afraid of persecution. All over the world, our brothers and sisters in Christ are being horribly persecuted for their faith in Christ, while here in America we are too afraid of what others will think about us if we were to take a stand for Christ. We are afraid to be called a name, or to be made fun of; while others are tortured and even killed for their faith in Christ. How we reach a lost and dying world if we remain silent? Lord help us!
“My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” Phil 4:19 “Be strong in the lord, and in the power of his might” Eph 6:10. Your a blessing Dr Hovind, please stay in the spirit as this is where He’s going to use this very trying time to change you into his image. We’re praying for you and looking forward to hearing your side of things and all of your new humerous stories.

But complain you must. I am not sure why someone who is convicted of a crime should whine and cry about his sentence. Then again, I’ve never understood why you decided that lying for Jesus was a valid outreach program.

You led my husband out of the deception and grip of the “Religion” of Evolution; guised as “Science!” Your love of Jesus and your cause to free believers of this ERROR is so appreciated! Thank you so much for your dedication to your calling by our Lord and Savior, the only Mediator; Jesus Christ! We don’t understand why God would allow you to be in prison. But, He is in control! (It might be for the one person.) Based on many who have been wrongfully persecuted, you are in good company. As for your case, we believe in the right of Churches to be FREE ; without licenses and find the 501c3 status just another way for the government to silence the scriptures and any true PREACHERS. You are one of the few! TY! Dr. Hovind we are SDA Christians but you are still our favorite preacher. We’ve been baptized for nearly 7 years now! TY (We even brought 2 of our Pastors to see you. We always try to see you whenever you are in the Los Angeles, California area.) And if no one else will have you, we will make it a mission to have you circuit our churches! WOW!
