Letter from God to Urbane

(Romans 16:9 “Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved.”)

May 19, 2007 – by Dr. Kent E. Hovind
(Written during my eight-day stay at the United States
Penitentiary Maximum Security Holding Unit in Atlanta—
one of the worst prisons in the system.)

Dear Urbane,

I just thought I’d write you a quick note to let you know I saw all the things you did to help my servant Paul.  I know there seems to be more glory in being the preacher like Paul, but your help in setting up chairs and sweeping the floor and helping people park their camels is important too!

Those great revivals wouldn’t run smoothly without you and others like you.  I know you don’t do it to get glory or be famous, but Urbane, I see your heart and I like what I see.

I’m going to make you famous anyway.  Hundreds of millions of people are going to read about you, son.  Your name will be listed in My Word which will be the world’s all-time best selling book!

Keep up the good work and keep your servant’s heart.  I’ve got a place prepared for you that you won’t believe!  I’ll see you there in a few years!

Love,
God
