kh: Excuse me, sir. This is a fine boat you have here!
Azor: Well, thank you, Kent. I like it.
kh: It looks like the biggest one on the Sea of Galilee!
Azor: It is. She cost about a thousand denarius ($80,000.00). It’s the top of the line.
kh: Do you live near here?
Azor: Yes. That’s my house up there on the hill.
kh: Isn’t that the mansion where the governor of this region lives?
Azor: Yes. I am the governor.
kh: Wow! I’ve heard you have lots of money.
Azor: Oh, I’ve got plenty to meet my needs. I decided as a young man to work hard and earn as much money as I could. I’ve lived around here all my life and always wanted to build a nice house on that hill overlooking the Sea of Galilee.
kh: Didn’t Jesus do a lot of His earthly ministry around here about twenty-five years ago?
Azor: Yes, He did.
kh: Did you ever get to hear Him preach?
Azor: Well…sort of…from a distance you might say. I heard some of his message as I was doing business one day. He had quite a crowd following him as usual.
I also saw him feed nearly 20,000 people one day with only five loaves and two fishes. It happened on that grassy slope over there to the right. People talked about that day for many years afterwards.
kh: Did you ever actually talk to Jesus?
Azor: Yes, one time, but only for a few minutes (Matthew 19:16-26). I was just in my thirties, but was already doing real well financially and politically.
kh: What did you talk to Jesus about?
Azor: I was rich but still felt pretty unfulfilled. I had heard a lot of real excited people talk about Jesus; so I actually ran to see Him. I asked Him what good thing I had to do to inherit eternal life.
kh: What did He tell you?
Azor: He told me to keep the commandments so I asked Him which ones. He only listed six of the ten Moses gave us in the Torah. They were the ones that deal with man’s relation to his fellow man (Matthew 19:18-19). I told Him that I had kept all of those but still felt like something was missing.
That’s when he told me to sell everything I had, give it to the poor, and follow Him (Mark 10:21)!
kh: So did you do it?
Azor: No way! I was rich even then. If the poor want money, they can work for it like I did. I was pretty sad. I wouldn’t have minded if He had said give some money, but He wanted it all!! I couldn’t believe He would even suggest such a crazy idea (Mark 10:22)! That was many years ago now. I decided that day to really climb the political ladder and make money.
I have endeavored to give much to the poor and to worthy causes. I think God will let me into Heaven.
kh: Have you thought anymore about what Jesus told you to do?
Azor: Almost every day of my life! His words still haunt me. I just can’t believe that God would require everyone to sell everything that they owned and to give it away in order to go to Heaven!
kh: I don’t think He does. Maybe He told that to you because He saw your love of money was keeping you from obeying the other four commandments.
Azor: I thought about that. That’s why I give so much money away to charities. I built the synagogue at Bethsaida. From the deck around my house, I can see the grassy spot where He fed all those people. He did a lot of things around this lake. People around here still talk about Him all the time. A few of his disciples are still alive and come up here to give tours or fishing trips once in a while.
I give charity boat trips to under-privileged children and gave land for the cemetery at Capernaum. I’m very civic-minded but it never seems to satisfy the pain in my heart.
kh: Do you ever wish you would have followed Jesus that day?
Azor: Well…sometimes. I think about His words a lot. I probably should have done what he said.
kh: Are you happy?
Azor: I’ve had the best of everything. My children went to the best schools. I have the best clothes. I eat the finest food and live in the biggest house. I have the biggest boat on the lake and my wife shops at the elite stores, but…no – I’m not happy in life. I missed God’s calling on my life twenty-five years ago.
kh: It’s not too late! You can still do what Jesus said. He is gone, but His disciples are going all over starting churches and preaching. Paul is trying to raise money now for his third missionary journey to Macedonia and Achaia. You could just sell this boat and finance the entire trip yourself. Think about the rewards in Heaven!
Azor: That sounds tempting but…I’m pretty comfortable with where I am. I like my boat (Matthew 13:22; Mark 10:23; Luke 8:14; James 5:2).
kh: Have you thought about what happens to you when you die (Hebrews 9:27)?
Azor: I try not to think about that.
Yesterday (Monday) Dr. Hovind was released from “lock-down” after almost 3 weeks there. He is now back in the main camp.
I am traveling to Washington, D.C. this evening and will be there for the rest of the week, attending the huge CPAC conference. http://www.cpac.org/ I expect to meet a lot of people. Prayers requested regarding this trip.

Hi all…Yocuzwhassup, I wholeheartedly concur on the following you said around 1st or 2nd of February….(just came in to catch up on reading Dr. Hovind’s posts and your comments in here)
We must denounce sin, call for repentance, and preach the gospel in convicting power. Yes, Christians should call for repentance from homosexuality, child abuse, pornography, and abortion, but we should primarily be calling for repentance for rebellion against God and rejection of Christ. Rather than indicting churches for their lack of “social concern,” they should be held accountable for heresies and failure to preach the truth. We must denounce the destructive false teachings that abound, particularly psychology, which is the major vehicle of so much of this evil, and root it out of our churches, seminaries, Bible colleges, and universities. It is hypocritical for a church to protest the world’s sins while tolerating and honoring those who preach a false gospel and are the enemies of the cross of Christ.
So true…I think the church should be busy doing what Christ asked it to do – the GREAT COMMISSION – preach no other gospel. We are not to be busy with the world’s affairs. If we seek first the kingdom of God, then everything else falls into place where it should be. You cannot give a conscience to a dead spirit and everyone is dead spiritually until they are born of God’s will and not the carnal will of man. Jesus never hammered people on their actions, He spoke to them of the KINGDOM, sin and righteousness consist of what is taking place in the heart. If we speak where the Spirit is silent, that is territory ripe for diversions and traps that keep the critical TRUTH from being sent forth.

AMEN! So many of us choose to hold onto something that really isn’t ours, and was only given to us anyway. Nothing we have belongs to us; but how selfish we are! Thanks, once again, for reminding us all of these things. Can’t wait to see the book of all your ‘knee-mails’!

How many dimensions is information?
if it is 1 dimensional there is no machine on earth that can measure or detect it. Something needs four dimensions to be phenomenal [3+time]. So why does information exist [semantics/syntax/statistics.....] ?
information/ language, I contend, is the proof of absolute certainty of God.
information itself is metaphysical. we read the “book” [see/read physical evidence] but by faith we know the answer of the authorship. Physicists look but what do they see?
so the probability of His existence is One – which is an interesting coincidence, if we are speaking probabilities.

Jacob Prasch makes the point that the orthodox Jewish community lost the keys. Where did they go? Jesus said He gave the keys to Peter. A new community took hold and ran with the oracles of life..

To speak one needs a medium, hence, In the beginning G_d created the heavens and the earth. In this instance time space came into existence as a medium for the expression of thought; which is conceived in and expressed by a Word which acts by way of the Voice, the “wind” {ruach} moving, thus began the melody of life. The thought became the Word and the expression was through the Ruach.

It is an annual meeting with some 5 or 6 thousand participants this year, in Washington, D.C. I am attending and learning a lot.
There are smaller break-out sessions, but also two main halls for the big speeches. This afternoon in the largest hall, I was with everyone, packed wall to wall to hear Gov. Romney. His face looked weary. Lots of applause and cheering during his speech. – But then with almost no notice – Mitt Romney quieted, and exited the presidential race. He did not explain why. It was a tremendous shock to most folks there. We were stunned. The large room instantly had folks lifting cell phones, reporters scrambling, and almost everyone soon heading for the exits.
2 hours later John McCain gave a speech – to mixed applause, but it was mostly positive. It was a stunned crowd (due to Romney’s speech). Then Ron Paul came and spoke, about an hour later. His supporters (though few in numbers) were very positive.

Remember again “all things work together for good to those that love the Lord”. The joy of the Lord will continually remain your strength in Jesus name. You will not grow weary nor tired in Jesus name. The aim of the devil & all his cohorts concerning all these ordeal will receive 100% failure in Jesus name. You will be stronger in the Lord Jesus than before this whole episode in the mighty name of Jesus. Your spirit will not be broken in Jesus name. All tactics to break your spirit will be used of the Lord Jesus to strengthen your spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN.
Your life is hid with Christ in God, so you will remain firm & solid in your faith, walk with the Lord & work for the Lord in Jesus name. The Lord is building you up for a divine purpose that we cannot comprehend with our human reasoning & His will be done in Jesus name.
We are praying for you…be encouraged & remain strong in the Lord Jesus. Daniel was strong in standing for the truth…though he had to go through the lions den for being bold for the Lord; BUT the Lord saw him through. The Lord will see you through after the order of what he did for Daniel in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
The Almighty God will shake all the shakeables for your sake & move all the moveables for your sake in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord will reign supreme in this situation & cause His worthy name to be glorified on your behalf in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord our God is the God of all flesh & SURELY nothing is too HARD for Him to do. We are trusting Him for the manifestation of His divine power in this situation you’re going through. Keep up the faith brother – Our Lord God is over all!!!
Remember blessed are those who arte persecuted for righteousness sake!!! Your reward is great in heaven. This world is not our home…Hallelluyah we have a blessed HOME where our Lord is waiting to receive us with all the souls we have snatched from the kingdom of darkness. It is not "6-6-6" (six, six, six.) Here is the verse:
Revelation 13:18 "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."
In other words, "six hundred, and sixty-six".
It is the number of a man. ...? Well, God is "The Scientific Mathematician" and the Book of Revelation can only be understood from the Old Testament (its 404 verses contain about 800 references to the Tanach, the O.T.). Revelation was "pre-interpreted" in the Old Testament. Christians prefer the New Testament; so we do not understand the last book of the Bible. The 144,000 Jews of Revelation will have both Old and New.
So, interestingly, there is a particular verse regarding Solomon. A wise man, but one who fell away later in life.
1 Kings 10:14 "Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,"
What an interesting and specific number. Is gold a part of it? Or Solomon's power? Or his sin in having hundreds of wives and concubines? Or his wisdom or persuasiveness...? P.A. ]

About Mt 19:17, it says ‘And He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is G-d. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments”
First of all, Yeshua wanted to know what the young man believed about Yeshua. Did the young man think that Yeshua was just a good teacher, or did the young man comprehend who Yeshua really is.
Second of all, the only person who could keep G-d’s commandments perfectly & enter into life because of it is Yeshua/Jesus. Everybody else is a descendant of Adam. This sin nature is passed down through the dads in each generation. Yeshua didn’t have an earthly dad. He was born of a virgin & for that reason didn’t get a sin nature.
Adam, the first man was also born without a sin nature, but because he disobeyed G-d, he obtained a sin nature, & brought the curse on himself & all his descendants. Yeshua was born without the sin nature, & He never disobeyed any of G-d’s commandments. Because of this He was able to become the Lamb of God Who takes away our sin.
In The Old Testament/Old Covenant, anytime somebody sinned, they had to sacrifice a clean animal to make a covering for their sin. They would bring the sheep/goat/cow to the Tabernacle or Temple & lay their hands on the animal’s head & confess their disobedience of G-d’s commands over the head of the animal, & then slit that animal’s throat. That animal’s blood would make a covering for the person’s transgression. Yeshua was hooked to the execution stake by nails. Then His Dad placed all our sins on His head, & His blood was poured out for our transgressions. He became our Lamb!
When you put your trust in Him that He is the Lamb of G-d, then He gives you His Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) John 14:16, Ep 1:13 & 4:30. The Ruach HaKodesh is a permanent installation! The only way to keep God’s commands perfectly is through the Holy Spirit.
There are people out there who are trying to keep all God’s laws on their own volition. They might be able to do it outwardly, but their hearts aren’t clean. If you think one bad thought your whole life, you’re history! We’re all guilty before we are even old enough to realize it.

Different subject: Concerning the gold used in the construction of the Tabernacle, it didn’t come from the burning mountain [even though there is some really interesting information on the burnt granite, etc. I just got a copy of the dvd ‘The Exodus Revealed: Searching for the Red Sea Crossing’] It was a free will offering from the people, & they gave so much that Moses had to tell them to stop![Exodus 25:1-9; 35:4-9, 20-29; 36:2-7] Exodus 35:22 states that it was gold jewelry. They got the jewelry from the Egyptians [Exodus 3:22, 11:2, 12:35,36]. How was the gold obtained by the Egyptians?
There’s different ways of obtaining raw gold. You can dig it out of quartz. You can find bedrock dirt in a riverbed & pan it out , or you can sometimes find it laying on top of the ground, in the Out Back in Australia. And there’s some places under the sea. The stuff that’s on top of the ground can be pre-flood.[It’s kind of airy]. The stuff that is found in quartz is melted, & it happened during the compression event when the mountains were formed during the Flood. There’s a spiritual principle here. And actually, there’s more than one!
COMMON SENSE
Consider this: The whole country of Israel reads the Hebrew text that the Old Testament was written in, & anybody who moves to Israel is required to learn Hebrew! They started doing this before 1948. I’ve heard 2 Israelis do this. When ever Israelis visit our congregation, we hand them the Hebrew Text of the week’s Torah(scripture) portion, & they usually read a lot more than their assignment! The first one I heard was an agnostic & the second one was a kid in 6th or 7th grade!
Most of the scripture that we deal with in Creation Science research is Old Testament. If we learn Hebrew, then we can keep each other accountable. If you want the research to go properly, the whole passage needs to be dissected instead of single Hebrew words here & there. In the process of dissecting the scripture passage, you learn the passage to the point where it becomes a part of you. At the same time you learn the context that various Hebrew words that you are studying are found.
The Israelis don’t use any of the study tools that some people are concerned with on this blog. Did you know that there’s a thing called a Hebrew dictionary?

I promised to keep you up to date with my talks in the Sunday School, so here I am. The first one (The Age of The Earth) was done today. They combined the two oldest classes so I had double the number of kids than what I’d expected. They all listened unbelieveably well, and the teachers were delighted. I have at least another two weeks to go. Some good news. After getting your Creation Startup kit I have been trying to save up for a projector. However the church family offered to pay for it just a couple of weeks ago. It should be arriving on Tuesday (12th Feb). I never got a chance to write yesterday, but Happy Spiritual birthday!

counting from 0 to 9 involves separate single symbolic forms. writing “666″ involves compound forms/ a complexity of thought/ compound meaning -whether you write it in prose or using a base ten symbolic numerical convention.

the new testament writers wrote in prose – but what they were describing was a single number, none the less. that number is also written 666.
