Beloved Kent and Jo

My husband and I are praying for you both as well. We live in South Africa. I prayed for my husband’s salvation for 29 years. A few months ago, he quietly gave his life to Jesus all on his own.

Four things convinced him of the fact that God is who He says He is and that Jesus Christ is God incarnate.

1. Angus Buchan (S.A’s most well-known evangelist) called him out of a crowd of people one day and spoke to him alone for a while.

2. My husband watched all your DVD’s with me (we have the entire collection) and was convinced that the Bible is God’s true Word

3. He received a miraculous healing after almost 2 years of severe illness

4. Just before he decided to accept Jesus as his Lord and Saviour, I told him how passionately God loves him – just as he is.

We’ve made copies of your DVDs for others as well – Christians and not-yet-Christians. We are watching the collection again for the 3rd time right now. Thank you for giving our wonderful God all the glory and we want you and Jo to know that we love you both.

As many join in prayers & fasting for you today, I pray our living God will undertake and send millions of his angels on assignment to ensure all goes well to your favour in Jesus worthy name.
Our God is a prayer answering God. Remember Ex 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
2Sa 22:2 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

Our God who is your deliverer will deliver you out of all snares of the enemy in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Fine Sir Hovind,
I think you must be in training in there? ‘The world’ is out hear preaching evolutionism like it is a fact that everyone should know. I have limited media here, which is always very secular, and I hear them regularly reffering to it in the past, present, and future tense. When you get released with the rest of us sheep amongst wolves, I pray that you will be as innocent as a dove, as well as wise as the serpent.

Dear Brother Hovind;
This holiday season brings with it exciting news, as I finally seem to be zeroing in on that transitional species you’ve been searching for; I never dreamed it could be so close at hand!
The family gathering took place as it usually does this time of year. This time, however, something seemed very different; upon entering the room, I had the sense of entering a lost world, straight from the mind of Arthur Conan Doyle!
Upon joining the festivities, the evidence of transitional species started to build. I was greeted by my brother Ed, with his turtleneck; Cousin Emily was home from college with her new boyfriend—they were off by themselves, acting like lovebirds! Grandma Esther could still move nimbly about, but her spider veins and crow’s feet were plain to behold. My young twin nieces, Amber and Ashley, were both proudly displaying their pony tails, though they were oddly quiet. This only seemed to confirm my observations, when it became plain that they were each a little horse (hoarse).
Things grew yet more convincing when we sat down for the meal. My Aunt Sally was there. She eats like a bird, and had once taken up dancing; but long term dreams were dashed, because of her pigeon-toes. She’s really too flighty to stick with one thing for very long, anyway.
Our neighbor Mr. Thompson showed up again; mom says he’s such a parasite. His could be a case of microevolution, though not in the traditional use of the term! Absent from the gathering was Tommy, my cousin—he is now a dogface in the Army. Apparently they won’t discriminate against transitional species. When I asked why great-grandpa Al also couldn’t join us, someone told me he’d finally croaked (I’m not sure why that matters, but apparently frogs are terrible dinner guests!).
Another amazing thing happened when my great Uncle Bob turned into a hog right in front of us! I’m sure Stephen Gould would have been elated to witness this “hopeful monster” mutation; though it may also have simply been an example of the survival of the fattest (fittest).
The post dinner observations didn’t disappoint, either! Grandpa Mike wouldn’t budge from the sofa. He is renowned for being the family “couch potato,” but I haven’t seen much resemblance; they sure are hard to separate, though. My older cousin Nate stayed mostly to himself—he had a chip on his shoulder. This may be an example of a vestigial appendage. Anyway, it seemed his fall out may have been with my dad, who is typically bull-headed. Mom says that he has always been this way, and I am familiar with this concept of irreducible complexity. On the lighter side, my nephew Johnny just wouldn’t stay away from the chestnuts, and we have known him to act pretty squirrelly at times.
Maybe none of this constitutes as real evidence, but it seems to provide hope that a transitional species may soon be found. We’ve all been searching too long, too hard, and too far away—the best evidence we’ll find may be reclined in our own living room!

You are certainly in our prayers, and I know that the Lord has your case solidly in hand (Proverbs 16:9). It seemed that perhaps a lighter moment could be appropriate, for “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”—Proverbs 17:22. We are believing the Lord for you, “to bind up” your broken heart, and “proclaim liberty” to you who are presently captive. It is a work which Jesus came to do, and He declared, “It is finished!”
