It is interesting that those asking for the Christian Law Association to intervene for Dr. Hovind have forgotten that David Gibbs of the Terri Schaivo case and CLA testified against Dr. Hovind and is in part responsible for him being behind bars at this time. It is not likely that CLA will do anymore than it already has and certainly would not be allowed to represent Dr. Hovind after testifying against him.

Mr. Hovind,
My family and I are so grateful for your ministry. I never understood why it matter how old the earth is. My family believes in the “gap” theory and I was raised with this teaching. It took me many years before I was willing to watch your videos. Now the Lord has opened my eyes to why it is important. I am now teaching my children the truth and the consequences of those false teaching. I was a public school child but could never wrap around the fact of evolution and how it fit with the Bible (KJV) I always thought I wasn’t very smart because I could never get what they were teaching. Praise the Lord if that was the case! We have watched your seminar and your CSE classes, I understand things so much more clearly now. Thank you for your wonderful ministry and we are praying for you and your family, and we are praying against these tyrannical rulers. I pray you reach many people while you have to be away from your family.

I hate that this has happened! I have never believed that man came from apes nor in the “Big Bang” theory. Both seem ridiculous no matter how hard the system tries to spoon feed it to everyone. I was lucky in college that my World History professor also shared the belief that it is ridiculous. It amazes me at the people who so religiously fight for this “theory” if it indeed even merits being called a theory.

I do admit I was one of those who did believe the earth was older though. I never put a number on it, but I always had the feeling a day to god might have been thousands or even millions of years. A friend gave me some of your audio tapes years ago and I half-listened to them, set in my own beliefs and would argue with him about it. Recently, while looking for material for my kids Sunday School class on YouTube I ran across 1 of your videos. I remembered the name and thought, “Hey that’s the guy my friend had me listen to years ago.” Well this time I did listen! Wow! You hit home with me Ken! After watching that video (Age of the Earth), I immediately began looking for more! I found your site and went through all of the seminar and debate videos. I can’t get enough of them! You explain everything so well and have really opened my eyes! It has helped eliminate many doubts for me and greatly increased me in my faith. Anyone who can seriously listen to one of your seminars and still belief in this evolution garbage is definitely out of their mind.

I sure hope you will be released very soon Kent. I have no doubt Satan is using this to discourage you and hinder you in your faith. Your ministry will continue with your videos and by people like myself whom you have blessed with your knowledge and wisdom. Maybe you can use this time to write or study and prepare for when you are released. Just please don’t let it discourage you or get you down. I know it is hard but be strong Kent. You have been a blessing to millions of people. Your work is second to none in my opinion. I have listened to several different creationists and none come close to you. Hang in there brother and may God watch over you and guide you as he always has. You will always be my hero! Thank you so much for all you have done to help me!

Yesterday a friend of mine asked how to answer to his step son a question about the Dinosaurs and I remembered that I had Dr. Hovind Creation Seminar Series tapes and was doing a copy for my brother in Christ and to make sure the site is still OK it was a hard breaking to know about this peril he is going through. Hello. I have a question for anyone who knows. Firstly, I am a big fan of Dr. Hovind, and his ministry. Although I disagree with his tax related transgressions, I know that nobody is perfect except for Jesus Christ, and that we all fall short of the glory of God. I think that Dr. Hovind’s sentencing is nothing short of RIDICULOUS. I have repeatedly read on this forum, that if we are to send Dr. Hovind mail we should not address him as Dr. Hovind or that the guards may disregard our mail and throw it out. My question is why do they do this? Do they treat all PHD’s who are incarcerated this way, or just certain people that they don’t like? Peacefully,

Dear Dr. Hovind,
I have been disappointed not to see more posts, but you are likely the most disappointed of all. I prayed and fasted on January 8(in addition to my normal routine for you), but I knew that in the customary course of events, your case would not be heard. Brian Steele writes that he is hoping to have a picture taken with you. I would like to have that!
Because I have had such a difficult time in the school where I am working this year, I have been studying the word “integrity”. I was surprised that my dictionary called it a rigid adherence to a code, but I supposed that is exactly what is it. We cling to Jesus with our whole being and to His ways as much as we are humanly able, increasing in our ability in time according to His sanctifying mercies.
I was pleased to be reminded that God used the word integrity to describe Job to Satan, “although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.” My favorite of all the integrity verses is Psalm 26:1: “Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in mine integrity. I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide.” It seems to me that our trust and our clinging to His code keeps us solidly in His good hands. Where those hands take us is up to Him. If he hadn’t taken me to a different place than I wanted to be this year, I wouldn’t have learned hard lessons to share with others. If you weren’t in a different place than you wanted to be, you wouldn’t have learned hard lessons to share with others. I know you know this (just as I did), but, Praise God, we have His Word to remind us.
A kind soul shared with me that my integrity is being attacked because it makes those who lack it look bad. I think that could be said for you a thousand times over-YOU HAVE MADE THE ENEMY LOOK BAD. You have been God’s instrument to snatch many from his jaws. You have taught truth for decades. You have started ministry after ministry and labored tirelessly for the Gospel. Of course he is going to fuss with you as much as he can, but the Lord promises to restrain him from passing your limit. I’m so grateful Jo was freed before the latest decision came down. I’m so grateful you had the knowledge of the money received on behalf of the ministry property. I’m so grateful you can know that Creation Science Evangelism is strong and well under the Eric’s capable leadership.
I reread recently John Piper’s “Let the Nations Be Glad” and was struck with the role suffering plays in taking the Gospel to the nations. Piper points out that the call to suffer with Christ is the call to love the way He loved, and He told us that if we did, we would be persecuted as He was. Your prison term is not a sign of failure but success. “Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad; for great is your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you.”
