II Kings 18:19 “That the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the Lord God, even thou only.”
KH: Well, Lord, the judge said they can seize the church ministry property and the IRS just gave Eric thirty days to move everything out. I feel like Moses at the Red Sea with no place to go and a very angry and powerful Pharaoh closing in for the kill (Exodus 14:10). We are yours, Lord, and all the ministry and property is dedicated to You. You told Moses to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord (Exodus 14:15). You don’t have another pillar of fire handy do You, Lord? You sent one to keep Pharaoh just barely away from Moses until You opened up the sea.
GOD: Oh, Son! Lots of My children have had very angry and very powerful enemies come after them. I always deliver them at the last moment unless it is My will to let them be killed or be harmed for a bigger cause (Job, Isaiah 57:1; Daniel 7:21, 25; Revelation 13:7; Acts 7:59; 12:2). Even then, I richly reward My children for their faithfulness when they suffer for Me (Colossians 3:23-24; II Thessalonians 1:5; II Timothy 2:12). Let’s go talk with King Hezekiah for a minute. He is facing a powerful, ruthless, and cruel enemy that is capable of, and anxious for his complete annihilation (II Kings 19:11)…
Here we are in the temple Solomon built. Hezekiah is over there praying over a letter he just got from his enemy, Rabshakeh, general of the Assyrian Army. Listen to his prayer and then talk with him, Son.
Hez.: O, Lord God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth. Lord, bow down thine ear, and hear: open Lord, thine eyes, and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God. Of a truth, Lord, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands, and have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them. Now therefore, O Lord, our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the Lord God, even thou only. (II Kings 19:15-19)
KH: Excuse me, king. You look pretty stressed out. What is going on here?
Hez: Oh, it’s a long story.
KH: I’d love to hear it.
Hez: We could go way back, but let’s just start with my dad. He was King Ahaz (II Kings 16; II Chronicles 28). He was wicked. He even offered my baby brother up as a sacrifice to a false god (II Kings 16:3).
KH: Ancient forms of abortion!
Hez: Of what?
KH: Never mind. People in my country do basically the same thing as your father if they don’t want their child.
Hez: That’s awful! Anyway, my dad was attacked by the Syrians; so, rather than call on the Lord for help, he called on the Assyrians (II Kings 16:7). He robbed the gold and silver from the temple to pay them for their help (II Kings 16:8), and copied the heathen alter (II Kings 16:11-18). My dad made God pretty angry. My grandpa Jotham tried to follow the Lord (II Kings 15:34) but dad didn’t. I chose to follow grandpa’s example. We were doing well trying to serve the Lord (II Kings 18:6). Then the Assyrians came to attack us (II Kings 18:13) and I did the same thing my dad had done. I gave the enemy the silver from the Lord’s house (II Kings 18:15). That didn’t satisfy them; so, they are camped outside the walls now, demanding that we surrender and let them move us off our land to where they want us to go (II Kings 18:32). Their general, Rabshakeh, just sent this letter a few minutes ago (II Kings 19:14). I brought it here to pray about it. The prophet Isaiah already told us that God promised to protect us and to not be afraid (II Kings 19:6), but it is sure hard to do! Have you seen the size of that army out there!?
KH: It’s huge alright! And mean looking!
Hez: The Assyrians are famous for being cruel and heartless. They are famous liars, too. They make lots of promises to get people to surrender and then don’t keep them.
KH: Didn’t Jonah preach there years ago, and they had a great revival?
Hez: Yes, but it didn’t last. They are back to their old heathen ways and worse.
KH: So what are you going to do?
Hez: Well, we made all the preparations we could make for this battle (II Chronicales 32:2-7) and all began praying for God to intervene. That’s what I’m doing here now. We are God’s people and He can do with us as He pleases. He may protect us and He may not.
KH: Sort of like the three boys in the furnace in Daniel 3.
Hez: Who?
KH: My bad. They won’t be born for a few hundred years.
Hez: I don’t think this general will wait that long!
KH: Hang on to your integrity, Hezekiah. God knows everything and can stop anyone if He wills it.
Hez: That’s all we can do now is cry out to the Lord. Excuse me, Kent, the prophet Isaiah is coming to see me to give me a word from the Lord.
KH: OK, Hez. Thanks for talking with me.
KH: Lord, I can read how you protected them that night. How is mine going to turn out?
GOD: Do you trust Me to do what is best, Son?
KH: Yes, but I’d still like an answer. …Lord? Lord! HEY LORD!…
My prayer for Dr.Hovind and the CSE ministry
Heavenly Father,
We come before you now with grateful hearts. We thank you for all you have done for us. We thank you for saving us from hell. We thank you for reconciling us to yourself through Jesus Christ. We bless your name and we praise you.
Thank you Jesus, for hearing our prayers and interceding for us in Heaven. Thank you for the grace by which we stand. We love you Jesus with all our hearts. Thank you for never leaving our side. You will never leave us alone.
Lord, without you we can do nothing and we bring Dr. Hovind’s situation before you. Thank you for Dr. Hovind and his family. Thank you for his boldness to declare the lie of macro-evolution and the truth of creation to a lost and dying world. Lord, you know every detail of this situation. Lord we need you to intervene. We believe that you can do it in Jesus name. We trust you Lord to do what is best. But we specifically ask for your intervention and favor in the name of Jesus. Please save their property in the name of Jesus. I pray no weapon formed against Dr.Hovind and the CSE ministry will prosper. Please restore all that has been stolen away. Please fight this battle for them. We thank you for the victory in advance in Jesus name.
To Dr Dino. As I read your blog and read of the govt seizing your property in 30 days I believe your creation science ministry will lay more conviction in the hearts of the people who have already watched your videos. Though your building may be seized you have already created a network of creationists that the govt will never stop. There are now too many of us. You have blessed my family and 4 kids and I will continue to share your dvds with others. God bless you and keep the faith my christian brother.
We were going to come visit Dinosaur Adventure Land this past week. We have been watching the Creation Series for the past few months (rented on Netflix). We had no idea what happened! We love you guys so much and are sooo very angry and what is going on. My 9 yr old daughter Lily has been sooo blessed and every night we have been watching the teachings on Creation. You have made such an impact on our lives and we were soooo looking forward to coming to Dino land. My daughter even asked if we could meet you. We love your humor. I am very sorry that, “The rule of law” is being misused by a a group of bankers Elites that “Snuck in” during the religious season in 1913. They used OUR worship/celabreation & family time, against us, to destroy (in time) all those, “GOD ORDAINED” activities.
( Matthew 13:25 while men slept, an enemey, (The bankers) came in and planted “Bad seed” (The Federal Reserve Act) in with the good seed (American Cannon, “Gods Laws”) and went on there way …

Good advice, but what does God say?
He said to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to Him, Do You then want Us to go and gather them (The good seed) up?

30 Let both grow together until the harvest time: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, You … Gather together first the bad, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the good seed into my barn.
Doc … We may have lost this battle (Hopefully not) but we feel pity for all those who may have been underhanded in the whole prosses.
Lessons to be learned, maybe on both sides?

You are a precious brother & I thank the Lord for your life and I’m still praying for your release.
I however got a VERY BIG SHOCK WHEN I SAW THAT YOU WROTE THAT YOU DO YOGA & I quote
Item #2: “2. Physical Area – Not bad for fifty-seven. I can still do five chin-ups (used to do thirty in high school☹), run 1/4 mile without stopping, do yoga, do quite a few sit-ups and push-ups and jump rope 130 times in one minute. I eat pretty well, sleep like a rock, and don’t recall the last time I was sick….”
The Yoga point was the first thing I mentioned to my husband while I was reading this blog and he was EQUALY SHOCKED. WE least expect you to EVER be doing Yoga ….. Sure no one is perfect, but we just assumed that you would know this is totally evil and such would not be named with you….. Now that you know from fellow brethren that this is totally evil, please brother kent kindly desist from it!

These are just three quotes from Caryl Matrisciana’s book “Out of India” which one should read before defending so-called “Christian yoga”. What an oxymoron! The bride of Christ has no business whatsoever engaging in this most unclean thing. Honestly, can any person reading this, whose sins have been washed away by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, say that they can picture Jesus sitting in the lotus position? God forbid. And God forbid that the bride should become like a harlot and take part in it as well.
Please brother Kent Hovind, I am 100% certain Yoga is of the devil, this might be one of the legal grounds the enemy can be using to do you some harm ………I PRAY YOU WILL NOT ACT LIKE SOLOMON AS YOU STATED in knee-mail titled “Taking an Oath in order to Lie”…. Please brother Kent Hovind, I beseech you to kindly stop this pagan excercise and kindly warn others…….
Remember you an example to so many, it would be a minus if many other believers start to practice Yoga because of you or many that would have stopped Yoga didn’t bother to stop it because of you and they use you as their example like those people used Solomon as their example as detailed in the knee-mail titled “Taking an oath in order to lie”

Even if you consider Yoga OK (though I know it is totally devilish), brother Kent Hovind………..Remember the following scriptures in 1 Corinthians Chapter 8:7 – 13.
7 ¶ Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?
12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.

Brother Kent; Keep the faith and finish the race. It won’t be long now, anytime he will be coming for each of us, what a day that will be, do not grow weary of well doing, I can recite many of these verses, that is easy but, trusting them, honestly trusting what he says, now that is easier said than done. I have a Jehovah Witness friend, been witnessing to him for years, he keeps telling me, he can’t understand the Trinity or John 1:1, what in the world is the WORD he will say, I keep bringing him back to Genesis 1:1, ” In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth, then I ask him, how did God create the heaven and the earth and he would say, I don’t know how he did it, and I would say, EXACTLY, you do not have to understand how God does things, just BELIEVE it because he said he did it. So I say to you brother as I also speak to myself, believe God, trust God, he will show you how he does it later. One thing I find that is so funny, is that the so called “powers” of this world, is actually all they have they lack the wisdom of GOD, the happiness, grace, peace, joy, and the most importantly the everlasting live. they think to ignore this that it will go away and if it doesn’t then they try to destroy it. but little do they know that one day….. it will be their turn I hope come to salvation before then.

I hope this comment finds you well. A thought just occurred to me that although you are suffering from the separation of your family and you may have very little chance of fellowship with other believers, you now have time on your own for personal study. The years in this ministry must have been quite wearing. Ministering to others Sunday after Sunday, plane trip after plane trip. Each time that you find yourself overwhelmed by the solitude of prison life, I encourage you to remember that you are making it up for the time you’ve given to the ministry and how much stronger you will be for it when you finally are allowed leave. The old adage “there’s always something needing fixing” rings especially true in the human soul and I praise God that you have the time to focus on these things. I also praise God that you still have the freedom to speak to those around you and bring them to the Hope found in the Gospel.
I pray for the journey of those around you and for your personal journey in His Word to be stronger than ever. May the authorities see Christ shining through you and may you be living proof that they can not quench the Spirit within us!
Another fantastic and encouraging devotional, thanks brother Kent.
I lead a Bible tour of the British Museum, in London, and one of the artefacts we look at is Sennacherib’s record of these events, in the form of the ‘Taylor prism’.
In amazing detail and confirmation of the biblical record, Sennacherib states that he shut up Hezekiah in Jerusalem ‘like a caged bird’, and also mocks him for the hired arab troops that deserted him at the sight of the Assyrian army.
What really stands out about this artefact, besides from Hezekiah being mentioned by name and the outstanding detail, is that for all his boasting, Sennacherib simply says he left Jerusalem and returned to Assyria – no explanation is given as to why. Not one arrow was fired. Despite Hezekiah’s vunerability and the fact that Sennacherib had just layed waste to Lachish, second city of Judah (also recorded in the museum), he left without finishing his campaign and gaining the jewel in the crown of Judah – Jerusalem.
Ofcourse the Bible fills in the gap and tells us the powerful reason – thousands had been slain the night before by an angel, in response to Hezekiah’s prayer. It is characteristic of ancient heathen accounts to ommit defeats from their chronicles, so this is an amazing confirmation of God’s supernatural deliverence – the only power that could turn the world’s mightiest army away from their ultimate prize.
